My 1st Meet and Greet

Larry here....this post is going to be short because as you can see from my picture I am exhausted with a capital "E". Today was my first meet and greet and I had a blast. The weather was nice, there were lots of hounds and so many new people. The best part--they all wanted to pet me! I loved all the attention and I didn't care one bit about those small critters inside or the little doggies that were walking in and out of the store. I can't wait to go back next week so I'm starting now on my recouperation. I'll post again soon when I have more energy. Nite!

Hello again everyone! It's Larry! I just wanted to let everyone know that according to my foster mom, I'll be at this thing called a meet & greet this Saturday at the 100 Oaks PetsMart. Evidently, it's where lucky hounds get to go and be loved on by all kinds of people. You should all come out and see just how special I am.
Oh, my foster mom keeps calling me her little narcissist. I'm not sure what that means but she says it whenever I'm staring at myself in the bathroom mirror and when I stop at all the glass front doors on our walks to check my handsome self out.
Anyway, things are greyt here and I'm loving my retirement. I hope to see you all on Saturday.

Two of My Favorite Things

Hi All, it's Larry here. I thought I'd share a few pictures of some of my new favorite things to do now that I'm retired.

My foster parents say I'm still doing really good and they seem to be extremely proud that I do all of my business outside (like I'd go anywhere else). Well, time to get back to my favorite pastime--laying on the new bed they bought for me this weekend.

Day 2 of Retirement

Larry is settling in nicely and is really taking to this whole retirement thing. Everything is so new so he has pretty much explored the entire house, every inch of grass outside and has found all kinds of new things that peak his interest. He is becoming quite the stair master (he'd still rather go down than up).

He is also becoming fast buddies with our resident hound, Eddie. They walk side by side outside and Larry likes to copy Eddie's every move. Our small Chinese Crested is slowly warming up to this big guy (he's hard to resist). Larry has little interest in the small dog--just a "hello sniff" and he's quickly on to something else. I have a feeling all three of them will be napping together soon.

Check back often to learn more about this handsome boy and his adventures (aka retirement).

Here's a picture of Foster Larry and Eddie napping...looks like we need a new camera so we can capture better pictures of this guy's journey....
